Proficiencies

I have cultivated my diverse skill set over my professional and academic careers. I value both hard and soft skills, prioritizing those which make me a better analyst, critical thinker, and more effective team member.

If you’re interested in getting to know more about me, and the skills I possess, check out my LinkedIn profile. I believe the best way to get a complete picture is to get in touch. I’d love to talk with you about how I can be a valuable asset to your organization.

Project Management

I love working on projects, as they are great ways to drive meaningful organizational change, while also working with new and familiar colleagues. I have often been asked to take a leadership role. I have led over 30 cross-functional teams, ranging from 5-30 people. I enjoy coaching my team to achieve our goals and deliver a result we can all be proud of.

Throughout my career I have developed extensive experience in project management. I was often responsible for 6-10 projects at anytime, balancing competing deadlines, project schedules, and maintaining an open line of communication with stakeholders to ensure their needs are addressed and they do not feel ignored.

Some highlights of my past work include leading domestic and international expansion initiatives,

establishing a new department, as well as operations and business intelligence transformations.

I am comfortable with PMI, Scrum, and Agile frameworks.

Strategy

From the moment I won my first game of chess, I recognized the benefits of a good strategy. I also learned how to weigh risks versus reward. Sometimes it is better to let a rook be taken, if you can capitalize on the opportunity that presents you.

When we think of industry-leading organizations their work, culture, and people come to mind. But a great team needs a strategic plan to chart the course ahead and capitalize on the opportunities that are coming.

My unique background and skill set help me to see the big picture from multiple angles. I like to encourage feedback and input from stakeholders to deliver real value and have a positive impact.

A mentor of mine, Chris Calkins said, "(Jasper) has a well-developed ability to extract meaning from data and to keep larger, strategic, and system goals in mind while working diligently at the tasks that make those goals a reality. He asks the right questions in a manner that develops the thinking of his peers and teammates working toward a common goal."

I bring that same collaborative spirit, inquisitive nature, and insight to my work.

Problem Solving

I have always enjoyed a good puzzle. I am seeking opportunities that give me the chance to solve the most challenging issues businesses face today.

As an experienced problem solver, I use Root Cause Analysis principles to uncover and address the source rather than treat symptoms.

Data Analysis

I have routinely used data to deliver actionable insights for Senior and Executive leadership. I use a combination of market research, internal and external databases, as well as primary and secondary sources, to name a few. Gathering and analyzing information from a variety of sources allows me to understand the complete picture and better inform the organization's key stakeholders to make grounded data-driven decisions.
